This 51 year old female desired a fuller upper lip. She has had fillers injected into her lips in the past.
After experiencing the advantages and disadvantages of temporary hyaluronic acid filler lip augmentation, she desired a permanent solution to improve the appearance of her upper lip. Because she has a longer than average distance from the bottom of her nose to the upper border of her lip, among other prerequisite qualifications, she underwent a subnasal lip lift surgery. The post-op photos are taken at 3 months and the scar is certain to improve further and fade during the next year.
