This gentleman was unhappy with the dull appearance of the skin on his lower eyelids. The fine lines and wrinkles of his lower eyelid skin is his chief complaint. He does not have enough skin to perform a blepharoplasty without distorting his lower eyelid margin. In addition lower eyelid blepharoplasty only gently tightens lower eyelid skin and it will not get rid of fine lines and wrinkles. Therefore the patient underwent periorbital (around the eyes) CO2 laser resurfacing. The poor tone and texture of his lower eyelid skin was his concern.
